Allergen Information & PPD

You cannot be treated if in past you have experienced reactions to hair or eyebrow colour treatments, or to a temporary henna tattoo.

There are lot of questions about the colorant ingredient PPD and allergies. Black Henna is used in various countries to create temporary tattoos which can lead to intense allergic reactions. The percentage PPD in Black Henna is high, from 8 to 29% after mixing with water. The maximum of this pigment in the colours used at Henna Hampshire is 1.5% after mixing with water.
